What we are

One Call Impact Windows is a referral and scheduling service for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. We connect you with an independent local impact window and door installer for your job and arrange the visit. We are not the contractor, we do not perform the work, and we are not a party to the agreement you make with the installer.

The installer

The installer is an independent business. They are responsible for their own work, for holding whatever licence, registration and insurance Florida, the county and the city require of them, for the products they quote and the approvals those products carry, and for the permit and the price they quote you. We do not endorse or guarantee anyone's credentials, and a description such as “installer” or “vetted” on this site is not a statement that any particular licence or insurance is held. Product approvals, permits and inspections are matters between the installer, the product's maker and the building department; nothing on this site is a statement that a product or an installation will be approved or will pass an inspection. Roofing, shutters, electrical, plumbing and structural work beyond the window or door opening are other trades and are not arranged through this site.

Prices

We publish no prices and we do not quote them, because the price depends on the openings, the product and your home. The quote is free. Your installer measures, gives you the price before anything is ordered, and you approve it first.

Safety

The guides and free tools on this site are general information, not professional, legal or insurance advice. Nothing on this site is an instruction to remove a window, a sash or a door, to handle broken glass, or to work at height; what a wind mitigation inspection or an insurer makes of your openings is for them to decide. In an emergency call 911, not us.

Calls and texts

When you send a request, you are agreeing that we may call or text you back about your job at the number you gave, and that calls may be recorded. Message and data rates may apply. Tell us to stop and we stop.

Limits

Because we arrange the service rather than perform it, any claim arising from the work itself lies with the installer who did it. Our own liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, which for a referral is usually nothing.
